I'm ready for my new family!

Missy is a spirited and playful girl who brings energy to any room, though her skittish nature means she requires patience and time to feel at ease-she won't warm up immediately. Rescued from a hoarding situation with over 80 other dogs, she's a delicate soul weighing about 15 pounds. Her past adopters tried to rush her affection, but Missy needs a gentle approach; forcing it won't work. She's still mastering leash training and struggles with men, but thrives in the company of other dogs, whom she loves to play with and learn from-having a canine companion would suit her well. She also gets along beautifully with cats. Missy will turn eight years old on September 12, 2025.
