I'm ready for my new family!

Zippity is a sweet, loving boy who can be a little shy at first, but once he trusts you, he'll show you just how affectionate he really is. At about 4 years old (born around April 11, 2022), he's still gently mourning the loss of his previous owner. Sadly while in temporary care after his owner passed, he was allowed outdoors and contracted FIV.
Important note: FIV is NOT a death sentence. With good care, Zippity can live a long, happy, and healthy life. He will need to be an only cat or live with other FIV-positive cats, as the virus is spread through deep bites or scratches. It is NOT contagious to people or dogs. Thankfully, none of the cats he lived with have tested positive.
Zippity does great with people once he warms up. We're not sure how he'd do with dogs or children since he hasn't been around them, so a calm adult-only home (or one experienced with FIV cats) would be ideal.
